Maybe an odd topic, but I was looking around on there bored. It's nothing spectacular, but found it interesting.
A first gen wagon, in Japan. Anyone find anything interesting? Amusing?
Were you actually looking for one in Japan or looking for something else and found one?

Speaking of google, has anyone found their own car(s) on streetview? I've never found any of mine, except this one on the satellite view:
Bout the center of the pic is my truck with a faded red canopy (OK OK it's now pink, what), and at the house directly below that, in the driveway with three cars, is my black Impreza. I've since gotten rid of both, and my grandmother doesn't live at that house anymore.

Wait....I'm confused now.
Did you know they don't actually take those pictures from satelites? I saw on a show once, I think it may have been one of James May's shows, where they said the satelites can't actually zoom in far enough to see people or their cars or houses. They said all those pictures you see on google earth are just from planes flying overhead.

You might be right about the google images. However, I have watched live satellite views (while in the military) using both civilian and military satellites, and they were able to zoom in that close. The military ones could go much closer, of course.

Yeah they probably can't afford to buy those satelites just for google earth.
