Oh geez, it was inevitable

Post by DevC »

I got a Subaru, just like half the people I know haha. I have kinda been wanting a subaru for a while, just decided to wait for a decent deal.

Its a 92 Legacy Turbo auto, paid $400 can, my intention is rally/winter/dd.

no mods really, just power mode override, some I-pikes, mbc, silencer delete, etc

That's a sweet deal you got there. What's the switches do? One's an auto transmission "power mode" thing, right? Cool volvo, what rims are those?

Thank you

Yeah, its an sr20det redtop, transmission, nissan wiring harness, stock welded rear diff, custom driveshaft, coilover kits. Motor is basicly stock except for the front mount, exhaust and cone filter and a bit more boost.

The power mode overide is the "party mode" switch and the lock switch was an attempt to make the center diff 50/50 on demand, haven't finished that yet.

Well my Legacy has had some work done to it, mainly maintnance and repairs, but thats boring so heres some pics of the mods LOL

Little history on the car is that it was once a taxi haha, she is still ticking strong and reliable as hell at 441,000KM's(274,000miles)

It's got some new fenders from the j/y rattle can'd white/1 and a half coils cut of each corner.

All the turbo legacys in your town? Do they grow on trees up there? Haha. To this day I have yet to see another turbo legacy on the streets.

Sweet car you got there. I like the volvo too.

Dude the blue looks good! You are turning yours into exactly what I am, winter/rally car :D. I want to get a roll cage done first before I really start giving it at rally events. Hopefully bmxkelowna can help me out with that because his cage is wicked.

that volvo is fucking sick. Dammit i miss mine, i wish i had done a 1jz or an rb instead of the stupid 5.0 ford junk i used instead. SR20 is def a sweet choice, lots of aftermarket support, and a damn good engine. that must be a ton of fun to drive!

Both of these cars are really really cool!

And the wheels on the legacy in the first pics are a chrysler daytona wheel. SO heavy. my friend had a set on a neon.
