Sure, they came up with the same power output for the in-gear dyno pulls. But that just showed that both designs were capable of maintaining higher boost (unlike the old stock unit). They didn't compare performance with variable throttle positions. The GFB guy talks about maintaining some boost in the intercooler during closed throttle, which they didn't test.
