driving around an N/A FWD legacy isnt really that bad, and the car pulls just fine after 4000rpm in my opinion. i would actually have no gripes or complaints about power if they would have just made the ratios a bit closer. its pretty ridiculous going up to 45mph in 1st to get some power only to drop out of the powerband when the car shifts to 2nd. and then its stuck in 2nd until a even more ridiculous 81mph.
not cool man.
i can keep up with a 1994 1.8L 5spd miata but with some closer gear ratios, i would be just that much faster.
i wish that subaru should have just left the first three gears for some nice close ratio acceleration and kept the 4th gear for highway cruising speeds.
CVT sounds kinda nice right now
imagine flooring it and seeing the rpms increase to 5500 and staying there until you let off the gas.
