Can I use JDM td04 on stock ss w/o intercooler?

That spinning thing that makes all of the cool noises. OE and Aftermarket.

Can I use JDM td04 on stock ss w/o intercooler?

Just curious, My car needs a turbo and I have the jdm td04 that came off my swap. I don't want to go through the hassle of putting an intercooler on since this is the only car I have to drive right now and parts on 15 year old cars tend to break when you touch them.

Not as a bolton. All the other factory turbos, including the TD04s, have the turbo outlet clocked almost horizontal. The factory VF-11 on the SS/TW is clocked close to 45 degrees. The factory charge pipe will not fit.

How does a vf11 plus some cash sound as a swap for your turbo?

91 Black SS 5spd. Edm lights, wrx gauges in dash, 45 degree airbox, cryoed drilled and slotted brakes. Invidia divorced downpipe with custom stainless exhaust. To be installed, aluminum a-arms, manual belts, awic.
