Backup Light Bulb

What bulb do you use for the backup light bulbs on a 91 SS? The manual says "27 watt"...is this an 1157? Or....?

Most bulbs have the wattage/voltage stamped/marked on them... have you looked if it does?

should be an 1156. 1157's are dual fillament
