Car is 1 month new to me

Ordered rear GR2's and Top Hats (rubber inside mount was destroyed allowing clunking, and shocks were totally gone).

On taking the old stuff off, I found out I had tapered springs and a one piece tophat/perch...
I thought this was only on the earlier models..???

So what to do?..
Return the Top Hats and buy locally ($$) to ensure I get a One piece design, or buy the spring perch?

Any other cheaper options?

You have two choices, you can either find a set of the non tapered springs and perch from a junkyard to swap over.

Or you can get new mounts that are meant for the tapered rear springs.

Must've been previously swapped in as entire units.
Were it me, I'd take this opportunity to replace all four springs w/ upgraded/higher-rate springs.
