aligning doors tips?
so i need to align the doors and was wondering if anyone has done this before and was shooting for any tips? the doors are off and the sensors are not making contact properly. which means more red lights on the dash.. grrr.

a floor jack and a block of wood helps alot. or you could put a rubber spacer where the door button meets up ith the door. something that has an adhesive

Pictures of your misalignment would greatly help us give advice on what you need to do. Sort of sounds like perhaps you just need to move the strikers in a little? If so, loosen the two screws holding the striker using a large philips head screwdriver, tap the striker inward a little with a hammer and then tighten the screws back up so they're just snug. Shut the door, then either repeat until you're good to go or if you're on the money with the first try then tighten those screws good and snug.

its super easy. i just swapped 4 new doors on. there is 4 bolts holding the door to the body. 12mm.
loosen each one a few turns and let the door drop a bit. then lift the bottom corner so the door is more level. tighten one or two bolts and check it. It may be too high or low so repeat this process untill your happy with the way it sits.

door alignment update
i believe the car has been hit on this side before and there was an attempt to fix it.
this rear driver side door is the worst and its so bad that the door ajar switch is always lit on the cluster. the other doors are not as bad but need to be adjusted.
