trying to still figure out my no start issue on my car. Car will start to life every time if you have the throttle WOT as starting it.
Was trying to test TPS and paper says voltage should be present on terminal 2 with the connector plugged in and the car on. Problem is I get nothing off that terminal (Oem or spare sensor), instead I get a voltage reading off terminal #4 that fluctuates with opening and closing the throttle.
Is it a typo on which terminal to check voltage from? Can someone snap a picture of their electrical connector to verify the correct color combo for wires.
Thanks

Re: Wire orentiation on TPS connector
First, try this - Being that there are four connections, one of the middle two will be #2. Try checking for the voltage on either one.
Right now, it's o'dark thirty for me, and it's cold out so I'm not gonna take a pic right now...
However, if you look at the TPS connector, one side has the tangs for the clips. If you consider that to be the top of the connector, then the pins are #4 to #1 left to right. Or from top down, it would be #1 to #4.
If that's not sufficiently confusing, perhaps this post from Legacy777 will be of help.
