I've removed the control arms on the rear from the sub frame and have removed the nuts on the foot long bolt which holds the two to the hub/wheel on each side. What I can't seem to do is remove the contol arms on this side. Both ends seem to have the bushings "frozen onto the bolt.
Anybody have some tricks or hints to rmoving them ?
I actually got one of the 4 off but the center of the bushing metal piece stayed behind on the bolt !
Thanks

Re: Contol arm removal help
Are you talking about the inner side of the lateral links that bolt to the subframe?
Use a lot of pb blaster.

No, the outer ends of the lateral links that have the big bolt that goes through both of the links.

Re: Contol arm removal help
Were you able to remove the bolt, or is that the issue? If you can get the nut loose on the one end of the bolt, leave it on a little and then give it a good whack with the hammer, and then use a punch to continue moving it through the hub.
