rear brake line connection

Post by drsevy »

The steel rear brake line from the rear wheel (right rear seems to head up into the body in front of the gas tank.
Where is the connection exactly. I need to replace the steel line from the rubber hose forward and don't want to simply make a patch piece.

thanks

If you remove the rear seat you will see where it enters into the car. There is however a union where the brake pipe in the car mates up with the rear brake piping. It should be just in front of the gas tank

You can kind of see the union in this picture
