WTT: ej20h AND ej25d heads for ej20k heads

Post by smh0101 »

I've got a set of ej25d heads in good shape that were rebuilt not too long ago as well as a set of ej20h heads that need a valve job.

I'm trying to find a set of ej20k heads that are complete and ready to bolt up that someone would be willing to trade straight across for.

The valves on the 25d heads should probably be adjusted, I believe one is slightly out of adjustment (a little ticky). And the 25d heads have an oil return line tapped. No coolant because I just ran the turbo coolant line to the heatercore return line and it worked just fine.

Anybody have anything? Preferably in OR or WA because I'd rather not fight with shipping.

Yeah shipping would probably be a close to $200 for 4 heads.

Exactly...

I decided I didnt feel like mismatching heads and cams and just saying screw it and going for 20k heads...

They only needed a valve job right Kimo? They're the heads that came from you...

Are you sure they need a valve job? As I recall from the leakdown test I did the intake valves were fine it was the exhaust valves on one of the cylinders that had like a 70% leakage. When I was reading about leakdown testing on google I read that exhaust valve leakage isn't that bad, it's intake valve leakage that's bad. I would have rebuilt them though just because the motor was already out.
