Just check out the Service manual. it's pretty detailed and shows the rebuild kit numbers needed to take on the project. I started a thread last month and wanted to make a DIY but stopped seeing that my wagon is now parked and driving my other legacy. maybe i should just do it anyway lol

By the Way, have you comfimed its the steering rack and not the P/S lines or seals?

I believe it's the rack, it squirts out of the boot when I turn my wheels while I'm parked. I have a haynes manual for it and it doesn't have any information on rebuilding it only replacing it. I bought the rebuild kit at autozone for around 40 bucks I just needed an exploded view of it jut to be 100% on the money with it.
