WTB factory oil cooler

Post by mellow65 »

Looking to buy all the bits for a factory oil cooler. WRXs, legacy turbos, some forester automatics had them.

Need the fitting to the motor, the "bee hive" cooler (part between oil filter and block), and hard metal line that crosses over to the thermostat housing, and thermostat housing.

I have a couple sets. Includes the cooler, lines and turbo water pump with the extra nipple.

Shoot me a pm with what you want for all that shipped to 97266. I wouldn't need the water pump because its going on an NA motor.

You sure? I think you still need the water pump because it has the nipple that brings coolant to the oil cooler. I could be wrong though.

The turbo water pump does not fit on an n/a motor.

The turbo pump will work trust me!:)
If you wanna be anal about how the lower hose is postioned you can use a water pump from a first gen forester(they all had oil coolers) if you usem this pump it will give you the N/A hose postion with the thermostat facing down instead of fowrward on the turbo pumps... the 2 nipple pump that you have would work blackbart if u had a 3 nipple that might be a issuse because you would have to cap one nipple off... all ej series pump will bolt up to all ej series blocks

The pump will bolt up to the block but it is not a done deal, first thing you are going to need is the turbo center timing cover.
