Converting CABLE trans to HYDRAULIC. Easy to do?

I blew up my n/a 00 legacy transmission, and they are hard to come by. Cable transmissions on the other hand are a dime a dozen at my junk yard. So, question is, how easy/hard is it to convert? I can grab the fork off my trans. Only other thing i noticed is the slave cylinder mounting holes might not be there on a cable trans. Any links or help appreciated.

You will have to move the pivot ball for clutch fork. You'll have to tap the other boss and move the pivot ball. If you look at both transmissions, you should see what I'm talking about.

I forgot to mention that the slave is bolted on top of the bellhousing not on the side like on my turbo trans. So ur answere was for a n/a to n/a conversion correct?

That is correct.

The mounting for the slave should be there. At worse, you may have to tap and/or drill and tap the hole.
