interior project ive been working on

Post by subaru_styles »

started installing my canadian seatblets & headliner, and reseal the sunroof. while doing this i decided to get started on a project i had on the backburner.

i really didnt like the ss cloth, the LS velour was much better imo but not available in black. so i took an LS back seat and door panel inserts and dyed it black. i had a set of extra SS door panels so i went to town on them. i will also been installing some LSI courtesy lights in the pockets.

sorry bout the crappy pics and lighting. oh and on a side note. the LS/LSI trunk carpet is waaay thicker and padded then the SS one

with the shading of black/grey it looks like micro suede. im still debating on wether to do the headliner in black as well

Looks great. I'm fooling around with dark brown and taupe leather with my wagon to break up the solid tan interior. Those inserts are a bitch to get off without damaging the fiberboard, right?

the LS ones came off a super easy. however the spare set of ss panels i had were off a car with liek 50k on it so all the glue was fresh and a totall PITA.. the hairdryer barely helped
