Someone stole my baby!

Post by klin7757 »

My touring wagon was stolen from in front of my house this morning. This sucks. I want my baby back! If any Coloradans around here see anything please let me know. I in the DU neighborhood near Wash Park. Oh it now has Legacy GT snowflake rims

I don't understand why thieves are targeting our cars now. Or at least it seems like they are.
That sucks! Its probably just a stupid joyrider. I just got mine back after the same thing happened ~1.5 months ago. Everything was still in and on it when it was found, including an ashtray full of loose change.

Very strange indeed. Seems like once a month another legacy is stolen and that's just members on this forum or people who find the forum. I'm sure there are many others which we never hear about.

Hope you get it back one piece.

I hope they find it. What's encouraging is that several people here have gotten them back in decent shape. I don't have kids, I have Duchess. If someone stole her when I finally get her back on the road, I'd have to feed them their balls if I found them and it wouldn't be my fault—I'd have no control over it. Feeding them their balls would just be a natural consequence of their actions, like gravity acting upon them if they jumped off a building.

-This makes me nervous. I'm up in Thornton, Co. Turbomeow's tleg was stolen a couple months back and was gone for around a week. when he got it back some things were gone but it still ran and all. Like said before prob. joy-riders. Mine doesn't quite run right now and has been sitting the last 10 months but still, makes me worry! Hope you get it back in one piece!

-Also on another note, I'm up by 96th and Federal where they have the Sonic's car show on Friday nights. I've been working on my car a lot these last few days and I believe it was this last Friday, 8/27/10, I saw 2 different t-legs, both sedans, one a light blue and the other white like mine, both 92-94 body style. The blue one didn't bother me as much as the white one. He just pulled in to my area and dropped, probably a friend off, then left and didn't see it again. But the white one seemed suspicious to me. I saw it at least 3 different times going back and forth down my street with 2 people in the car. Granted it was a Friday night and the Sonic's car show was going on but still... wtf?
-Anyway the light blue one was pretty faded and beat-up. The white one looked okay and had a stock black painted spoiler. Both had loud mufflers and iirc, both were on stock rims.
-Now I'm going outside and putting on my club for added protection!
-Joe

EDIT: Also, Friday morning that same day, saw a wine-stone red SS sedan at pull n save off of Broadway and the 76 freeway. Just a weird day. I never see that many SS's in one day. Just trying to help!

I have never even seen a turbo legacy on the streets before. You see 3 in one day?

-Yep talk about a weird day! Definitely out of the norm! Last time I saw 3 was almost a year ago and I was cruising with the other 2 lol!

That totally sucks ASS! :smt013 :smt013 :smt013

I'll keep my eyes open for sure. I spend a lot of time driving these days, and I see turbo Legacies almost every day in Boulder County.

Do they all gravitate toward Co.? Like old people to Fl and Az?
Don't lose hope. After a month I was convinced mine had been parted or burned in the woods, then a week later it was found ~1mi. from my house.

I GOT HER BACK!!! :-D :-D The cops called me this morning and they found her in Commerce City of all places  Some tweekers had basically been living out of my car for the last week. They were pulled over while driving to a court date. The car had no plates on it so of course they didn't make it. It seemed like they were intent on keeping it. They had installed an amp and 2, 12" subs along with bags full of porn dvds and motor oil and some new windshield wipers, toothbrushes a fire extinguished...the list goes on and on, weird shit. The body is fine and the interior just needed some major cleaning and vacuuming. Mechanically fine and all parts still intact...oh they stole my K&N panel filter worth probably 10 bucks used and replaced it with Frame, big whoop. They had warrants already, so I'm hopping they do some serious time. It's been a good day.

Awesome! Do you get to keep the shit they added? What kind of porn do tweekers watch? I'm imagining something really foul.

They should shoot tweekers. If they're not going to legalize drugs, then they should go after the market. As long as there's a demand, capitalists will sell the product to satisfy it. One salesman goes, another will always spring up, but eliminate the market, and you eliminate the product. And druggies aren't too keen on living anyway, so it's a win for everyone.

If by 'they' you mean the system, then I'd have to disagree and say that 'they'd' surely find a way to get that caught up in litigation.
What we, the responsible members of society, need to start doing is carrying a spare, unregistered, firearm to donate to the tweeker we just shot in self defense.

Yes, i should clarify. I don't like cops almost as much as tweekers . . . even more maybe, so I wouldn't like them having even more power. I'm also against the death penalty as implemented by the state, but all for people blowing away some assmunch that attacked/robbed them/their friends/family.
