Hey there!

Post by DrinkItDown »

I looked for a while trying to find an introduction area, but couldn't, so I hope this is the right place. Anyway...

Hey everyone! My name is Pat Burke, and I am from Columbus, Ohio. I have a 1996 Subaru Impreza LX which right now is getting a hybrid SOHC EJ25/EJ22T, which I am focusing on building for Autocross and Rallycross.

My family has a long history in Rally. My dad, Mike Burke, raced back in the SCCA days in an Audi Quattro 4000. He died some years ago now, but here is a Special Stage thread where I was looking for his old car. Some great stories about him in there.

Also considering posting everything from my project so far in a thread here somewhere. Its pretty different from the "Subaru Norm" that you might see on places like NASIOC. I'm even taking a stab at the Subaru heresy of using a Megasquirt to do the engine management.

Anyway, thanks for reading.

Oh! If you want to see my car, I have a YouTube channel where I document pretty much everything I do, and other stuff too. Including my trip to STPR this year (not done with that video series yet).

Welcome to the BBS! :smt006
You'll quickly find that this site is nothing like NASIOC. The "Subaru norm" doesn't exist here, the members run all kinds of engine swaps and have gone quite a few different ways in engine management. I'd love to see a thread about your car.

Thanks for the welcomes! Sorry I haven't put up my project thread yet, its going to be a lot of Copypasta from the other forums I am on. I will have some spare time in class tonight, so I will most likely do it then.
