I'm about to become a proud of my first subie!! It's a 94 SS AT and i was wondering if the struts from a 05 WRX wagon will fix on a 94 SS. Thank you.
PS. I love this site and everyone who is a part of this kickass community. I was a honda civic owner until I got tired of them being broken into for parts or even better, just flat out stolen. Never again.

Welcome to the BBS. I'd suggest reading some of the threads in the suspension sticky. There's a lot info in there.

Re: 05 WRX Struts into a 94 SS??
Welcome to the LLC and Congrats on the SS.
I doubt this helps much, but the complete units -top hats/struts/springs - will bolt up - front and rear.
But since those are just struts, you'll have to research re-using your tops and springs.
I believe that you'll have the 'saggy butt' issue, w/the rear lower than the front, too.

Re: 05 WRX Struts into a 94 SS??
I apologize for being contradictory, but I believe the struts themselves will fit fine. It's the rear strut mounts and rear springs that cause problems. The struts you are looking at should fit without issue. IF you end up buying struts from a sedan, you will have trouble getting the correct amount of negative camber both front and rear. This is due to the fact that WRX sedans have a wider track then either our car or a WRX wagon. I believe that can be fixed by maxing your factory camber adjustment bolts in the front and adding aftermarket camber bolts in the rear.
You shouldn't have 'saggy butt' because you are not changing your springs. If you do find that your rear sits lower then your front after you get everything bolted up, you can use spacers from paranoid fabrications.

Suspension fitment is a question that seems to get asked a lot around here, and pretty much everything you might need to know has probably been asked. I had my Legacy less than a year, and only got around to modifying it a few months ago, but I have learned A LOT on this site. The google search function works worlds better then most forum searches. I hardly find a need to ask questions on this forum, proven by my low post count over all most a year. I realize when buying a new car that there is a lot to learn in short amount of time, especially if you have to make quick decisions on what parts to buy. And it is always nice to get a definitive answer before shelling out dough on new (or used) parts.
Welcome!

Re: 05 WRX Struts into a 94 SS??
Thanks everyone for their help. I have the struts in the garage now and on waiting for some time off for work and school to get them on. I'll start a build journal once I find my camera, its buried in a box somewhere since we just moved into a house WITH a garage. No more parking lot mechanic getting yelled by apartment management with fire ants crawling up my legs while sweating in the New Mexico sun:)
