Do you want to do some ralling? My Rally suspension is close to street.
Difference is in length of spring, not spring rate. Basicly for road race,
you want a short spring, 6-7 inch, Ralling you want closer to 10-12 inch
length. Nice thing is, you could buy a set for street and by a set of
springs for ralling. You can gat AF Coil spings for about 150 to 300 cdn per
set of 4. Most good struts are adjustable for stiffness. That is the beauty
of Coil overs, they are usually a standard diameter.

Hi Jason,
I am running Tein suspension, Toyo Tires. The car likes the set up. The
tires are Toyo Garret G0-2. Where are you? I hope you can make it to
Chilliwack event.
PS, if you can, add arear strut tower bar, makes a huge difference!

Hi Jason,
I am running Tein HR suspension. My shocks are set on stiff, so my ride is
not soft at all. A great resouce for Legacy is Cobb Tuning in Texas.
www.cobbtuning.com They have the bushing sets for group N for the car. Kinda
pricy for the full set. With the cage in the car, the car is super stiff. I
am sure that the strut tower bars would go a long way toward a stiffer feel.
Basicly, do the suspension first, if you want a stiffer ride, this will
help. My suspension setup should run you about 2000 cdn for all 4 corners,
maybe less. Call A&J for final price, they are the importer for TEIN for
Canada. They also have ZEAL suspension, its a little unknown, but cheaper.
I will take any of the Legacy owners for a ride if you come out to the
Novice event, if you want.(Dare??)
Mark

for tein because they get theirs thru hk and not tein usa. If i am there i
will for sure go for a ride in your car. My friend is still trying to get me
to by a 91 legacy factory sti prepped rally car like the one colin mcrae
raced in england b4, this one is an actual ex-rally car. I go as if i can
drive that on the road.

Thanxs

Rally prepped legacy? Where from???? Yes A&J buys direct from Tein in as far
as I know. They have a lot in stock and sell to most of the local
speedshops. Last time I was in their warehouse, they probably had 10 or 15
complete sets of suspension sitting there.
We went and mapped the route today for the novice TSD, smoothish roads, but
very twisty, fun! We went through a series of 5 or 6 switchbacks in a row!

Mark,

It is a 1991 Subaru Legacy Turbo Sti "Prodrive" built factory rally car,
group N car.
How much would you feel would be a reasonable price for this car. This car
has rally history in mint condition.
