Floating in dar ocean......

Post by John Drivesabox »

It's me and 5,499 of my closest friends.

Been out here for almost a month now, we're so far in the middle of nothing you can see the milky way with your eyes, damn gorgeous.

Take care of your woman (or man), love your life and take time to enjoy things. No I'm not drunk (surprise), just reflecting.

Heres hoping your in a ship and not posting this from your Iphone from a life raft or something!

Yeah... Its hard to find true Dark and clear areas... took my kid to the ocean a couple years back and he was exposed to true country dark for the first time. (Hes a city boy). Came back in wide eyed "Its BLACK out there!".

Can only imagine what its like from beyond the borders of "Civilization".

Hit Kuala Lumpur this weekend. You wouldn't believe how cheap you can buy name brand stuff over there, newest and best my friend.

And if you've ever been anywhere in Asia, or anywhere really you usually see a good mix of Subaru's as well as all other makes of Japanese car. But the 3 days I was in Kuala Lumpur, I only saw 1 Subaru, it was a first-gen Forester GT, pretty cool, but still very disappointing. They have a national car brand called Proton, some pretty good customized ones over there.

Clockwise circles, I imagine—I think they have a lot of trouble turning left.

Pulled over in Bahrain for a few days. Hanging out at the CPO club with my Bros and Sisters. This is a nice base, too bad we have to leave soon. Wonder where we'll end up next.

And if Im in a bus that gets t-boned by a vehicle laden with explosives, lets just say my paranoia was not unfounded. The middle east freaks me out like that.

I kept between the pier and the base. I don't like Las Vegas that much.

But all is good, we're back at it again. Time to go kill some more terrorists.
