WTB: good stock springs, shocks, and struts for legacy wagon

Post by subynewby »

as the title states, im looking for some decent stock suspension for my 1992 legacy wagon. tho ive done alot of work to this car, im pretty new to subarus. i normally work on vws, but ive done alot of maintenance work to this subaru before i made its way into my hands. but this currently has some chopped springs, and its unnecessarily low, and bottoms out on the bump stops far too often. any help would be appreciated.

I have a set of KYB GR2's for sale. They work well w/ stock springs or mild upgrades like WRX.

I believe he would probably want new springs too since he has springs that have been chopped... And I don't think he would want to put wrx springs on there cuz that would still be lower than stock. U gotta listen to what he wants man instead of just tryin to sell ur product. But he could go to the junkyard and get some stock springs, then he would be stoked with those kyb's. If I needed them I would buy em and get the springs like I said. that would probably be better than getting used pre assembled stock ones from a junk yard . If I were in his boat that's wut I would do. Not tryin to tryin to get him to not buy em from u but u just gave him information he probably doesn't want and he would probably be disapointed if he still had a car that's been lowered.... Just tryin to help a brother out :)

Unless he used 02-03 WRX springs, then he would have a little lift, better spring rates, and better damping.
Not tryin to defend against a cock-block, just sayin...

Realy.. That's bad ass. U learn sumthin new everyday. So if I put those on my 98 outback struts that I have on my wagon they would give me even more of a lift? I wish I had a turbo wagon too. I'd lower it with wrx suspension. That would be bad ass. The best of both worlds ;)

subynewby: After looking around my garage, I found a set of stock springs if you're interested.

Shaggy: Lets not hijack this thread, but all the info you seek is in the suspension section. Much of it has been stickied.
