20g heads accidently fell on my ej22t

Post by subytech »

So I took the 22t out to install my ported custom clocked td04, fix some oil leaks, and install my group-n motor mounts. 3 days later my roomates brother offerd me some early legacy 20g heads. They've been decked and generally gone through, mildly ported yadayadayada. I'm pritty sure they're going to make their way on the block. I'm not building the block, dont have the money, and it has 230000 miles on it. I still have great vacuum readings and good compression. So the ultimate question is what is a safe boost target for this setup (I know the CR is going to drop to about 7.2-1) running on the stock ecu, possibly with a SAFC-II if needed. The block will eventually be built but i'm getting married in the near future and well that pritty much sums up the finacial end of it for right now! I just have a hard time passing this up!
