The bulbs are white, the 'condom' covering them are green. Thus, easy to change over to red.

The gauges them selves have green tinting as well, if you shine a light through them they look mint colored. I'm wanting to do a plain LED white, just nice and simple and clean look... I haven't gotten anywhere yet, I don't like mint.

That looks pretty good. What about the green tinting, did you do anything with that?

What do the 2 bigger ones go to? Like if I want to do the tack and speedo blue and the rest red what would I have to do?

The two bigger ones go at the top of the tach and speedo and theres not really a way to light each gauge individually due to placement of lights. The smaller ones go on both sides of the tach and speedo kinda like, s b s s b s where s=smaller and b=bigger and there aren't really any dividers either.

Ok I found the smaller ones but I'm having trouble finding the bigger one. Does it matter which type goes in as long as it's 194

If you put blue ones in do you think I'll have to remove the green overlay thing?

Awesome, thanks for the info! I've been wanting to do this, I hate the green, and red's easier on your eyes.

And Subie, it takes longer for your eyes to adjust at night from the blue light back to darkness, I would not recommend it, red will be the easiest on your eyes. But it's up to you, I can't see it being a huge issue, I know even the green bothers me though since I'm used to red.

Well i did a cluster mod to my car a LOONG time ago with blue bulbs.

All i did was take standard 194's and painted them with glass paint.
I did nothing reguarding prizm moding, just the grean domes off the lamps.

It does work but its bunk when you figure out that there are 2 more bulbs that need replacing.....
So im going to do this mod with blue LED's to see my results.

If I was going to do orange/amber L.E.D.s would the green tint stuff be a problem? I've seen orange/amber gauges before and, personally, I like it the most with red being a close second.

I am just curious cause I'm trying to do this, is there anyone who could give me two part numbers? I want to try the blue or maybe the red but the bulbs I found I'm not sure are the right ones so I don't want to order the wrong ones can someone help me out?? And maybe post a few pictures on how to separate a cluster the proper way cause I'm a big guy and just don't want to end up ripping it apart and breaking shit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
