most likely could be the timing belt is broken. Does it sound like the starter is cranking a lot faster than it should sound?

I was having similar issues lately (starter sounded like it was going bad, no-start conditions) that were quickly solved when the cam sensor was replaced. Definitely check the state of your timing belt though.

timing belt is good. starter sounds normal not fast like a broken belt thinking it might have jumper a tooth maybe.

Check the codes before doing much of anything else. That should pin point a cam or crank sensor issue.

I'm having the same issue with mine, cranks slowly like it's fighting itself. Happened out of nowhere, parked it one night it's ran great, next morning, nothing. I thought for sure the belt skipped.
I pulled the timing cover, but everything lines up perfectly, tensioner's good, etc. New belt last year. Guess I need to dig out my spare cam & crank sensors, God knows where I buried them... I pulled the battery before I remembered to read the codes.
