What a pain in the dick it was replacing it....two extensions, a magnet and high frustration level...no wonder Haynes suggests the intake manifold be removed for replacement...but glad I did it, the old one had an 1/8 inch crack surrounding the part that bolts to the engine...although my check engine light had been intermittent for it for a while now, that light should not come on at all for it unless I F'ed something up

I changed mine a whille back it also had a huge crack in it, I guess they get brittle over the years.
Pulling the intake manifold is a much bigger pain then just replacing the sensor, the Haynes manual sucks at times

I swapped mine out in 5 minutes. Wasn't hard at all... I went right by the throttle body, 1 extension, and one of those wobbly/bendy adapters.

I changed the one on my daughters car took about 5 minutes t get it out (I dropped it and had to chase it), and about 3 minutes to put back in... same as above, swivel socket, and one extension....

I just put the one on my '94 on the engine side of the engine/bell housing flange, just above and aft of the stock location.
