I'm wondering if an aftermarket lightweight flywheel for a 2005 Legacy GT (push style tranny) will work in an SS with a 2002-2005 WRX clutch kit?

Florin, is there a reason you'd say yes to interchangability between a puch and pull style trans?

Fairly certain they are not interchangeable. Also, the 05-06 Legacy had a dual-mass flywheel, while 07+ went back to the single-mass, and from an experience at work, those only interchange with the right flywheel bolts.

I posted the question on Nasioc as well, and someone said that the pull type have a "stepped" flywheel, which won't allow the clutch kit to be bolted flush to it. Ah well, it was worth a try.
