Fuel in fuel tank

Post by darkcrave »

I know after 200+k miles there must be crap in the fuel tank?
I'm about to replace my fuel pump and was wondering while I replace it I should
Drop the fuel tank and clean it out, replace the fuel lines? I know the walbro will be
Pumping much more then stock?

If this is a good idea anyone know how long this job takes, and anything else I should know?

It is alot of work to drop the gas tank. You need to remove the rear crossmember etc. I wouldn't worry about it, just put a new pump and filter and goo!!
