legacy problems

Post by subaruracer755@cs.com »

hey all remember when i said i was having problems with it not starting, well
it was at a dealer for a week and a half, and they found nothing, said i
could take it home... i got there and they handed me the key, i tried to
start it, and poof, NOTHING, i handed it back and after an hour of searching,
they found the fuel pump connector to be corroded just enough to only work
about 90% of the time, they fixed it and no problems since... i know there is
someone else on this list with stalling problems, and i know its your wife
daily driver... try this and maybe it will help with the stalling too!

legacy problems

Thanks for the note on this. I am the guy. When I replaced the fuel pump I checked and cleaned the connections.

The latest status is I cleared the error codes from the ECU a couple of weeks ago and the Grocery Getter has performed flawlessly since.

I wonder if this was like rebooting my personal computer or something.

I plan to start driving this car for business soon and will be on the road a couple of days each week. Hopefully all will go well.
