I have a few failed/failing HLAs. When I take my valve cover off am I going to just be able to unbolt the rocker assembly from the head and take the whole thing out? Any problems going to be waiting for me when I go to bolt everything back in?
I found an End Wrench article describing it but they specifically mentioned leaving one of the bolts threaded in, but never gave a reason why. Will I be screwing anything up by lifting it all the way off?
This is on a 2.2L non turbo by the way, not sure if the turbos are any different.
Thanks in advance...

Maybe they're talking about leaving the center bolt on, so the rocker doesnt just fall off, and then removing it. Its really easy actually. Done it a number of times. There's nothing you can screw up. Pull the whole thing out.
