Engine Code

Hey guys, have an ej22t in my posession
the number lazered into the top of the block says
BB 48 on the drivers side of the engine block and 48 BB 11312 on the turbo side...
just trying to figure out which ECU and wiring harness I need.

and is the crankshaft pulley bolt a reverse thread bolt or not?
in other words is it a righty tighty lefty loosey or the reverse of that

It's not reverse thread

The BBs are referring to piston size. The 48s refer to bearing sizes, IIRC.

Is it a complete motor? If so, then it depends on what you're putting it in. Basically, anything '91-'94 harness-wise will work. I think the '91 had a slightly different plug setup on the engine harness, but all the sensors and whatnot were the same for the turbos.
