I have a pretty decent toshiba laptop here, EVERY site runs super fast except NASIOC.... they really need to chill out on my cpu fan.....

They've got the stupid bar or something that runs. It's java or flash, and it's HUGELY CPU intensive. I'm not sure if there's a way to disable the app/bar. You can try looking for something in the settings/control panel.

Hmm no problems here with FF4 + adblock. I looked using IE9 too, but didnt see the bar you're talking about nor the increased cpu usage.

I saw the bar, disabled it a little... now i don't know how slow it is. Just upgraded to Win 7 Ultimate, so im in the 3 hour process of downloading updates from WAY back in the stoneage....

with how slow windows is seeming so far, im alittle concerned. but after all the downloads it should smooth out.

Eh, actually alot faster with win 7
