SOHC or DOHC

Post by darkcrave »

I can purchase a Niiiiice set of Ported and Polished EJ22T heads (New 0 miles)

or

Buy a front WRX Clip EJ20G and use the DOHC from that ( 40-60k miles )
BUT
I would also be getting the whole front clip lol

do you think PP EJ22T heads would flow better then used WRX Heads

What is the end goal?

The EJ20G motor will probably open up some additional options for tuning and parts, etc when compared against the ej22t.

Overall the most power possible, ie most flowing heads
I already have the Rob Tune + Supporting mods waiting to be installed

What turbo & injectors do you have? Do you plan to upgrade additional parts in the future?

The DOHC EJ20G heads are probably going to be the best option in the long run.

I agree.

Especially with the Rob tune. Build the motor the way Rob specced the tune.
