Replacing synchros

Post by 94EJ22T »

I'm finally getting around to rebuilding my 94 turbo gearbox and replacing all the synchros. this will be the second subaru 5mt I've rebuilt. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket synchro rings (the bronze synchro blocker rings) available for these transmissions.

I would really like to not have worry about replacing them ever again even when I let lots of different people drive my car.

If anyone knows of a supplier who sells sintered bronze, carbon fiber, or any other upgraded synchro ring, your input would be much appreciated.

thanks!

I'm not aware of any, but I'd suggest contacting Andrewtech. They would likely know.
