06 spd into a 93 legacy, linkage questions

picked up a 5 speed out of a 06 2.5rs. been browsing the linkage threads and seems like most of the threads are about putting newer shifters into older transmitions. If I got things right in my head I should be able to just use the newer short shift kit, bushings, and linkage, Is this correct?

Also hopping someone can tell me definatively what axle stubs I need.

Yep newer linkage from the 06 trans will bolt right up along with any 06ish short shifter etc. Pretty sure you need the same stubs as the 6 speed swap guys use along with the seals. I'm only 98% sure though.

I used my stock front axles. My trans was out of a 04 TS though. 3.9 FD n/a transmission.
