The smaller one will be easier to install because it looks like it has the right y-pipe.

Either way both of those BOV's will probably hit your throttle linkage.

Personally I would take the y-pipe off the small intercooler and but it on the bigger 06 forester one, it should fit with a little work, and is almost identical to my setup.

so whst do i do so i dont hit the throtle do i need to buy somthing are just raise lower intercooler

Im guessing your only option is to make a custom bpv plate and run the stock legacy bpv like i did.

I ran a stock sti bypass valve and just removed the part that vents it back to the atmosphere, clears the throttle wires good and the car runs fine

I didn't know it vented to atmosphere. I thought all subaru BPVs were just that, recirculating systems.

They should considering all the cars are MAF based.

The STi is recirc. I think what he is referring to is the elbow that can be taken off of the stock BPV, that is the part that hits the throttle body cables. If you take that off, then it doesn't hit, but its really freakin close. If you do the "crush mod" too the BPV, now BOV, it should help alot with idling and such but it will still run rich between shifts.
