fuel problem help

ok so my car will not run at times the fuel pump dont turn on alway but say if i sit in the back seat to put weight down it runs so how would i fix this i know its probly an electrical problem for the fuel pump to do this it but then it seems to only act up when i refuel up doesnt mater if i fill it to the top are just half way i dont wanna drop my gas tank if i dont have to. to fix the problem but if so i will ANY SUGESTIONS WILL HELP

ok so problem solve i had a guy look at it he tried to start it nothing i jumped in the back it started i jumped out it died lol hes like that weird so he got in the back i started it he jumped out and it died so he said to remove the back seat lmao i didnt i think of that all the wires were rihjt there i was looking under the car near the tank no wounder i couldnt find any thing lol one wire was coroded bad so just sniped clean conection and added a coneter so hopfully it fixed

Yeah, the connector under the rear seat on the passenger side can get excessive resistance and cause problems. Replacing it with insulated spade connectors usually fixes the problem.

I had this problem with my first legacy, moisture got into the fuel pump connector under the seat, it arced and melted enough to mess it up. I cut the connector off and just hard wired it. Never had a problem after that. Try replacing the connector or just hard wire it, make sure to unplug the battery obviously when doing this.

yea its fixed now but it looks as the wires has burnt on the plug the there was 2 wires just sniped and wired together with conecters should i conect snip and just wire the rest up direct
