Are all 4eat pans the same? Mine is getting pretty rusty and starting to seep through. If not what years
will work with my 91ss?

Re: Trans Pan interchangeability
I just swapped my 91 pan with a 94 pan as week or so ago, and it was exactly the same. The 91 pan was badly dented and causing some problems.
I got a new gasket & trans screen/filter/pickup kit from O'Reilly's for it pretty cheap. The rubber gasket sealed nicely and the pickup screen area was bigger but the outer dimensions were the same.
The pickup replacement was fairly straight forward, but a pain to get installed just right. The pickup O ring was the issue and getting it to seat properly was the hassle. Put the O ring in first, then install the pickup tube. I tried installing them together a few times and it was just frusterating and messy.
Be sure to have your drain pan handy because it will puke a lot of fluid throughout the course of changing things out. Once with the drain plug, then again with the pan removal, and again with the removing of the crossover tube and pickup.
