As far as I know, only the 04' STI is a direct replacement, because they switched the hub setup in 05' to a 5x114.5mm bolt pattern.

I won't swear to it, but I am pretty sure I saw somewhere that you can use the 05 and up struts, but some mods need to be done to the holes. I don't know where I saw it, but I thought it was here.

According to NABISCO, we can use them. Rears will fit, and fronts need small mods.

Sounds right to me, I've heard of people doing it. But i wouldn't expect to make them fit in an hour, or that there aren't any special caveats for pre-02 cars.

I tookl the time to search cause I considered these seriously, but I'm in the process of a TD04/AWIC build and I need to stay focused!
