So I am looking to buy 2005 STi Struts, but I read that they don't fit the front.
Is there no way to make them fit the front?
I know the rears are suppose to work if you do some drilling / slotting, but does that not work for the front either?
Or should I stick to looking for 2004 STi struts?
Thanks!

The bolt spacing on the hub is different from our cars on the 5x114 Subarus, so you can't get them to fit. With the rears it's the bolts on top of the strut that are spaced differently so you can just swap top hats or drill through the thin metal on the car to fit the 3rd bolt. I'd stick with 04, shouldn't be too difficult to find.

I will hold off for awhile then until I find some 04 struts.
You don't happen to know the difference between sti struts and say KYB GR2-2 or AGX's do you?
Aside from adjustability I mean.

The STi struts will probably be valved stiffer than the GR-2, and likely more than most of the AGX settings.

Bases on other stuff I recently read it seems that the STi struts should be more durable as well as stiffer.
I tell yah, the hunt to find a complete set of 04 struts is not easy. I guess I need more patience. =)

Have you put up a WTB on Nasioc? I'd imagine there are plenty of them out there taking up space in garages.
