The only place you'll likely find anything specifically for our cars is through the Subaru dealer. You may be able to find some used lines on a car in a junkyard.

Do the lines on JCWhitney say they are application specific or just universal fit?

Just universal. The line are 3/16 but the fittings are what I am sacred of because I am not sure if they will be metric or standard.

Subaru fittings are double flare, and I don't believe most universal stuff are.

Personally, I wouldn't risk/chance it.

Yeah....you'd need to buy the bending & flaring tools as well. I really think your best bet is to try and find some lines off a car in the junkyard, or possibly from someone on the bbs.

You make them fit....that's the point of "universal fit".

I'd check the outer diameter of the stock lines to see if they're close to 3/16". As long as you bend the lines to fit your car, have the proper fittings and flare tool to match the stock fittings, you should be ok.

You can get the correct brake end fittings pobalby from JC whitney also, they do sell metric stuff there also. I have a few from when I did my nissan's brakes but I can't remember what size they are...pretty sure almost all jap cars are the same brake fittings. I want to say m10x1.5 but I will have to look into that...I am sure you can find that info somewhere, or just measure the threads and the hex from an old brake line.

I did all my brake lines on my car as I did the RHD conversion and the MC is on the opposite side and I deleted the ABS. I borrowed a flare tool kit from my buddy and bought the straight line by the foot as needed. It was pretty easy but then again my car was basically a bare shell at the time.
