WTB A/C system

Post by slipknot51 »

Hey every one i was wondering if there is any one out there that is either parting out or removing there ac system from there legacy. I just had my compressor blow up on my car which put metal all through my ac system so i removed every thing and i was able to clean up the evaporator so I'm looking for is every thing besides evaporator suction line discharge and compressor condenser ext. I was hoping that i could find someone local to the twin citys but i would be fine to deal with shipping if it comes to that

I can help you with most of the A/C stuff. I've got a couple compressors (both types) in great condition, and some other bits and pieces. Let me know if you're interested.

I'm having issues with the compressor you sold me. I can't get the high side to go over 75 psi. After asking around, it seems like this is not pumping.

You've got "a couple of both types" but you got this one out of your personal car? I PMed you and asked if it was actually cooling right before you supposedly pulled from your personal car.

the compressor I got from 90LegacySTI did not work, but he says he's giving me my money back.

New compressor from eBay fixed it. My AC works now.

Thanks for putting my name in your post. Figured we could handle this like gentlemen and I could just give you your money back. Seems unfortunate you would need to slander my name when I acted in good faith.

I was not inferring you intentionally sold me a bad one. I was simply stating that it did not work. I apologize if you took it the wrong way.

I did not want to blame you for possible misdiagnosis being the cause of my A/C not working, so I waited until I had another new compressor and knew for sure that it was the cause.
