If you up the boost beyond around 12-13 psi you will need a fuel cut defender. I think with that setup, 13-14 psi is probably ok, depending on the supporting mods. I would recommend a wide band O2 sensor as it is an invaluable tool to determine how much boost you can safely run and maintain proper AFR's.

I don't know about FCD's, but have you looked into getting a bigger turbo? The stocker is pretty puny even maxed out.

The cold side output on the turbo points a different direction than the VF11 so you will have to re-engineer your intercooler piping.

I have a TD04 on mine, with a Walbro 255lph fuel pump and WRX TMIC. Installed a AVO recirc on it recently.
Also have a fcd and I'm boosting at about 15lb. I have so much torque the stock clutch cant handle it.
But its not in a Legacy, its in my 89 RX.
I'm in the process of buying a house in Rochester, its about 20mi south of Olympia.
The place has a 24x36 shop out back :-D
