aftermarket water temp sensor.

Post by logan9691 »

Wondering where people have placed there temp sensors for after market guages. Looking to get an innovate G3 guage but I'm not sure where to mount the sensor since the adapters for newer subies look like a tight fit with our radiator hoses.

Thanks
Logan.

^^^Yes! I built a T from brass pieces, spliced it into the heater core hose and installed my water temp in that pointing down to make sure there is liquid touching it all the time. I checked the temps at the T vs the stock sensor location and at most they were 2 degrees off.
