Guys,
I have been running a VF12 for awhile and have been pretty happy with it. I have the AWIC on there and have all the lines, tubes, etc routed decently. Recently I broke the one of the ears off my VF12 and am looking to replace or upgrade it. I am on the search for a VF12 but am starting to like the idea of TD05. It seems that there a a couple different TD05 configurations floating around and i am not sure which one would be closest to the VF12 in routing? Aka the 90 degree inlet and same exhaust patterns.
Thanks

Re: VF12 and TD05
A TD05 from a '92-'96 WRX (EJ20G) will bolt in as far intake and exhaust. The water and oil lines are slightly different, but surmountable. If you get your turbo with them, then there shouldn't be any issues.
IIRC, all Subaru TD05s have the 90 degree inlet. The ones for the later cars with the straight inlet are modified.

Re: VF12 and TD05
The TD05s show up on the Ebay UK site regularly. I've bought 2 (or 3?) and turned out OK. You'll pay for shipping, but even then it was cheaper than buying one in the US. Just ask the Seller b4 bidding whether they'll ship to the US and get an estimate. I paid about $200 shipped for the TD05s I bought.
The VF39/43/48 from the STi is about equal w/less lag (and less top end) than the TD05 and with a 90° silicone elbow and piping will work well w/the stock config too....benefit is you can reuse your oil line. These run $300-$500 on NASIOC.
