It's a n00b question... yes, I know. But when I had Patti, I took apart the rear seat, and I never got it put back together properly ever again. I could never get the hook on the cushion back on the hook on the seat back properly, so the cushion would always collapse whenever someone sat in it.
I need to take the seat on the B4 apart, and this time, I want to put it back together the right way.
What blatantly obvious step am I missing?

How do you properly reassemble the rear seat?

Re: How do you properly reassemble the rear seat?
Are you referring to the center loop on the bottom cushion that is supposed to connect to the hook on car? If so any the cushion at like a 45 and push it in towards the hook until it get hooked then drop it and pull it. If it pull out then try again. It is easier than you thing. Hope this hps.

Yeah, Tony's right.....you just have to jam it in there, and it should hook. It's possible the hook on the seat back for Patti's seat was bent towards the rear enough that it never hooked the bench part of the seat.
