Hello.
I know most of you does not expirienced with Throttle body Injection, but if you could help me a bit, i will be glad.
We're talking about 1.8Liter engine on a 93 legacy, TBI (Throttle body injection - Almost like a carburator - SPFI).
Lately i flushed the TBI, i took it out from the engine, pulled out the Air-sensor and put it for clean.
After the Flush, the Idle Sensor (that was still connnected) has start to make problems and "check engine" light was coming with his code.
I took it apart, Cleaned it perfectly and put it back again - i reset the ECU and the check engine light has gone.
Since then there are some sympthoms that i never seen:
At a clod start, the engine idles around 1500 rpm for about 1.5 - 2 minutes and then goes down, If U start to drive it before it goes down - the Engine is getting to his normal temp' but the idle is around 1100rpm, and then (when u stop) it goes down slowly to 700-800 rpm's - and from that point, it drives prefect, and every stop light the rpm's goes right to 700-800 rpm's with no problem.
the gas milage (highways) is around 28.5MPG, around the city its (the worse) 18MPG.
My question is: Is this Normal ?
If there's any Link 4 some help, i will be glad to get.

That's exactly how it's suppose to work! Honestly it sounds like the engine is runnin perfectly, the rpm and everything you said is how mine works.
Enjoy it, plus that mileage is pretty good.
