Auto to Manual Driveshaft Lengths

Post by beaconhillkilla »

I'm doing an automatic to manual swap into my 92 SS and I have access to the driveshaft from a manual 03 wrx, can I separate and combine the front and rear of the two shafts to get them to be the appropriate length for my car?

Yes I believe you can use the front section of the 03 WRX MT driveshaft with the rear section of your AT Legacy driveshaft.

The rear diff style (old vs. new) is what changes the rear drive shaft length.
