What transmission did i end up getting
A local yard crushed out and since i knew them i was allowed to pick up some stuff for scrap price. So i picked up a ej25d and just the 5 speed transmission out of two subarus. The problem is i dont know what i really got. The car i got the 5 speed i think is from a 97 legacy outback with 2.2. Now i heard that the 2.2 got 3.90s but the outback got 4.11. Is there a way to id the transmission so i know if i got the 4.11s or 3.90s?

If it's a 97 outback I would guess 2.5 and 4.11 gears.
