thought I'd post up a few photos of the legacy i bought as my winter car that is turning into the year round daily driver while my 93 turbo gets some goodies this year.
playing around with plastidip smoke i tinted the tail lights . what a pain in the ass these lights are to remove in the generation
over this past weekend i got the whole car plastidipped matte red
you buy it in gallons and is sprayed with a proper gun. prep is basically just wash it tape off a few areas and and wipe it down with basically a wax and grease remover that is included with the kit.
Link to this kit you got? would you recommend it over vinyl wrap and spray wrap for a cheap paint job? also how's the maint with washing and detailing... Will it chip/scrape/wither off from the elements or washing it a ton
Looks great again, love the red/black theme. Looks better than some ppls dd's
i got mine done at a local shop. but you can buy the kits at dipyourcar.com the pro car kits come with everything you need including a special wash cloth for the plasti-dip . from everything ive read it will last a long time and is hard to chip due to its slightly rubber finish . guys are able to go through automatic car washes or use a pressure washer to clean them with no issues . and it peels off fairly easy once you get an edge started
Nice! Been seeing the progress on Instragram for awhile! Lol. What's the difference between the Standard Raceland and the Ultimo Raceland coils? If you know
edit: nevermind.
"The difference between their Ultimo coilovers and the entry level kit that they already offer, is that the spring and damping rates have been increased by 15%, providing owners the extra stiffness they need for increased handling as well as the added stiffness will help those that are running a more aggressive wheel fitment, keep a clean static stance."
